Regarding Audio Books
One of the more popular forms of media today are audio books . They are essentially recordings of books read aloud. Audio books can be distributed on any number of ways today. Nowadays compact discs and other digital media are way ahead of tapes and other analog media in terms of distribution. Tapes once held a sizable portion of the market, but now account only for 16% , whereas CDs can boast 74% of the audio books market in the United States, despite the fact that the term “books on tape” is still synonymous with audio books in general.
