Those who complete a school psychology masters can get to work as school psychologists. People who choose this specialization are typically pursuing careers as school psychologists, crisis specialists, diagnosticians, or program evaluators in public schools, but can also get jobs with private schools and other educational institutions. As a school psychologist you will work with teachers and administrators to help the school to achieve the goals and aims by instilling efficiency of the staff. School psychologists also deal with the students directly to discover any learning disorders which might be caused by trauma like death in the family, among others. The school psychologist often has to work closely with the teachers to discuss the problems affecting the students and suggest possible remedies.
