Vinyl Bean Bag Chairs for Indoor or Outdoor Use

Saturday, July 3rd, 2010

Bean bag chairs are so cheap these days that we decided to get a few to take with us whenever we go camping.  A Vinyl Bean Bag chair is durable enough to be used inside the tent or outside.  After sleeping on the ground in a sleeping bag, the cushion of the chair is a nice change of pace.  What I like is that the vinyl is easy to keep clean – if it gets caught in the rain, all we have to do is wipe the surface down and make sure it has time to air out before putting it back in storage.  We haven’t had any trouble with odors or tears in the vinyl covers, but we did discover that vinyl will melt if you get it too close to an open fire.

I Guess it’s Time to Get a Boys Jacket

Friday, May 7th, 2010

It is that time of year when the weather can’t seem to decide what to do. One day, the skies are blue and it’s warm enough to go outside without a coat, and the next day it is snowing! Other days, it is too warm for a coat but too cold not to wear anything. These days are the hardest ones for my son, because he wants to be outside so bad and yet all he has is a thick, heavy winter coat. I make him put it on, but within a few minutes he has stripped it off. I guess it’s time to get a boys jacket so that we don’t have this problem.
