My family and I are finally taking our dream vacation. We are going to Australia! My husband’s family is from there but the kids and I have not had an opportunity to visit until now. My husband has only visited once when he was a kid, and I think he is the most excited of us all. We will be visiting the Brisbane area and while ideally we would like to stay with family, there are 7 of us altogether so we are looking at brisbane hotels. Larry and I were planning our wedding and we decided to return to Costa Rica for our honeymoon. Much to our surprise, we found out that the hotel where we had met had closed. They are flying in from London in the morning to enjoy some of our beautiful kiwi summer. I can’t say I blame them at all, I would much rather be down here than sitting up there in the northern hemisphere being freezing cold. Another mate of mine over there called me just the other day and said he was also thinking about heading down this way.

Are there any good websites on how to make your vacation more affordable? So far my best idea is to look into the cheap hotels Auckland has to offer to see if any of them would work for us. However, I could use some other advice as well because now that we are travelling with kids our vacations are getting to be way too expensive. I think we are going to have to cut back on the things we buy them, and find some ways to make the trip less expensive. I am hoping I can find a hotel with a fridge so we can keep milk and have cereal for breakfast.

While on our honeymoon we made friends with another young couple staying at the b+b.  After a few days of togetherness my lovely bride and I decided to go our separate ways for the day.  My new friend and I went golfing and the ladies enjoyed a day of riding at the nearby Cavan Equestrian Center.  It is amazing all that this area has to offer visitors.  Golfing, fishing, boating, walking, horseback riding, and a great b+b, too.  This is the perfect spot for a weekend getaway, a holiday, or, in our opinion, a honeymoon.  We have already decided to come back here every year to celebrate our wedding anniversary.
