Unbeatable feature sets

Saturday, January 23rd, 2010

The bad: Thicker and heavier than the previous model; still near the upper end of the Netbook price range. The bottom line: With excellent picture quality marred by only a couple of flaws, the Panasonic TC-PG10 series sits near the… Flash content didn’t always work from the Web browser. The bad: The smartphone can occasionally be sluggish. Choosing a Registry Cleaner That Works

Friday, January 22nd, 2010

A few weeks ago I was having all kinds of trouble with my computer.  It was running really slow and freezing up constantly.  When it froze up, all I could do was restart it.  Normally, restarting the computer wouldn’t be a real big deal, but it was taking almost five minutes to start.  I knew I needed to clean the registry files, so I purchased a program that was designed to do just that.  After installing the program, scanning the system, and making the recommended repairs, my computer was still running poorly.  I asked for a refund on that purchase and found a registry cleaner review site.  This made it easy to find a program that really works.

Where to Find an IBM Thinkpad Battery For My Old Laptop?

Thursday, January 21st, 2010

I have an older model IBM Thinkpad laptop. I bought it used and the battery had barely any charge at all. So, I have always used the ac adaptor as my power source. I have looked everywhere I can think of for an ibm thinkpad battery to replace the one that will not charge. It seems that no website or store I have found carries this model of battery. It may be that my computer has been discontinued, but as long as it works I plan on continuing to use it. I would love to know where I might find this battery for my old IBM.

Big Surprises

Wednesday, January 20th, 2010

When my husband got the phone call this morning he could not believe it. He had pitched his new customer relationship software to a business group yesterday. Well, he did not know it but someone from CRM was there. They called and wanted him to come in to talk to the head guy on Friday. They loved his software so much that they wanted to offer him a job. They actually wanted to buy his invoicing software and hire Greg on as an engineer. It was all happening so fast that we did not know what to think about it all.

Choosing the Right Telecom Platform is Important

Tuesday, January 19th, 2010

Last year the company I worked for enjoyed some major growth.  We moved to a larger office suite and additional staff.  I was involved in the process when a telecom platform was chosen.  We had three different proposals to choose from.  I was against choosing the cheapest option, but I was over ruled.  It took almost a year for management to realize that you get what you pay for.  There is a reason that the prices are low.  We have now switched to a platform that works perfectly for us.  Thank goodness the past year is now behind us and we are moving forward.

Monday, January 18th, 2010

While going over the options that were available to my organization when upgrading the computer systems that I own, several different factors were taken into consideration when deciding what type of deployment I wished to employ for the upgrades that I was making.  Ultimately, and on the recommendation of the Exchange 2010 Deployment Consulting firm that I hired, I decided to go with a fully hosted solution and now that the upgrades are complete I am confident that it was the right decision for my business as I would rather not have to deal with having the software on premises.

A scanner kiosk and recharging station

Tuesday, January 5th, 2010

The potential of a random audit aims to keep shoppers honest. My favorite part is the location-based coupons that pop up as you travel around the store. The scanner allows easy entry and removal of items. The scanners feature a barcode scanner and a color screen complete with sounds. Upon checking in at the scanner kiosk/recharging station, a simple scan of my store loyalty card releases a scanner to shoppers. Scan It: a self scan/self check mobile barcode scanner system of getting your groceries. Create a profile, comment painlessly, and be eligible for contests. Along the way refinements of the basic UPC have been developed, including the European Article Numbering System , developed by Joe Woodland, which has an extra pair of digits and is on its way to becoming the world’s most widely used system.

I Had To Remove Antivirus Live

Monday, January 4th, 2010

My week was really weird. First I noticed there was something weird going on with the computer that I use each day in my home office. Then it seemed to get worse and even when I did what I thought would have corrected the issue, it still remained bad. I was clear that the problem was a virus that had invaded my system. I knew that it was something to be gotten rid of and so I had to remove antivirus live which turned out to be the thing that was the actual issue for me in the first place.
