Joy is Watching My Grandmother Reading a Book

Monday, January 25th, 2010

It was years before I found out that my grandmother could not read. I remember always reading her mail and telling her what the letter said, but I never really gave the reason why much thought. While in college, I wrote my grandmother several letters and she never acknowledged that she received any of them. When I asked her why she had not answered my letter, she reluctantly told me that she could not read. When I offered help and she accepted, I immediately set her up to start on the phonics program. She is not only reading my letters now, but she is also enjoying reading books for the first time in her life.

Green Jobs

Monday, January 25th, 2010

The other day some co-workers and I were talking about the current economical situation. Our town has been hit hard by unemployment recently and two more businesses just announced they are closing. One of my co-workers is moving in two months as his wife got transferred. They rent so they don’t have to worry about selling their house which is a good thing. Houses aren’t selling around here. I asked if he had found a job in the city they are moving to. He said no he is going for his LEED certification as green jobs are the wave of the future. I’m happy for them. They really deserve this chance.

My Brother Really Works for His Surgical Tech Salary

Monday, January 25th, 2010

My brother has really surprised us all. After living a carefree and pretty irresponsible life, he did a complete turn-around, went to school, and became a surgical technician. Now he is extremely focused, especially when he is assisting in the operating room. I can’t believe the difference, but he says that lives are at stake and he cannot afford the luxury of letting his mind wander. I think he likes the good surgical tech salary that he gets, as well as his job.  Zach would have never seemed like the kind of guy you would see in a surgical cap and gown, but I guess you just never really know.

It was delicious, and she said that all of their meals were delicious and satisfying. I went home and signed up, and my first box of food was delivered later that week. I have lost over forty pounds, and I am enjoying myself.

Eat Pre Workout

Sunday, January 24th, 2010

You might think that you should not eat before you train. But the truth be known eating a good meal about an hour before you train will actually giove you more energy.  It will also prevent muscle break down by keeping protein in your system.  I like living a healthy lifestyle.  Such a meal may back a beginner feel a little bloated but as you gain more experience your body will adapt to it and thrive.  Keep this meal full of protein, chicken and rice will work great.  These good carbs from the rice will allow you to work harder.

I Had an Unbelievable Time at Mt Maunganui Holiday Homes

Sunday, January 24th, 2010

I just got back from the most relaxing vacation I have ever taken.  It was amazing.  The beaches were so beautiful.  I loved watching the sun set every night from the Mt Maunganui Holiday Homes we stayed at.  They were very nice holiday homes and I would love to return some day.  Everything was immaculate there.  The beds were also unbelievably comfortable.  I loved snorkeling along the coast and seeing so many unique creatures.  They really were not scared at all by my presence and I was able to feed them from my hands.  It was truly the best vacation ever.

Finding Credit Monitoring Services For My Boss

Sunday, January 24th, 2010

As an office secretary, it is my job to ensure that all the needs of my boss are attended. I remember the day when she asked me to look for credit monitoring services in the Internet. I found so many agencies, and I asked her which one she liked. She wasted no time and availed their services right away. I know how important it is for her to protect her credit score. She wants to make sure that she gets updates regularly. I was so happy when she told me that she would also pay for my credit monitoring. Now I can keep track of my credit score.

Disney Discounts Save Us Big Bucks

Sunday, January 24th, 2010

My cousin is always taking his family on a vacation to some place or other and bringing back wonderful pictures to show everyone. When he heard me wishing that my family could take such a trip, he suggested that I check into the 2010 Disney World discounts. He said that I might be surprised at how reasonable the park prices could be. Later that evening my wife and I sat down to do some calculations. With our income tax check and a little extra from our savings, we can pull this off. Our children will be so thrilled, and you can be sure that I, too, will take lots of pictures.

Shopping for Aquarium Water Heaters

Saturday, January 23rd, 2010

When shopping for aquarium water heaters, it is important to make a few calculations to make sure that the heater is the right one for you. The first thing to do is to determine what the average temperature is in the room where the aquarium is located. Then, look up what the temperature of the aquarium should be. This depends on the type of fish kept in the aquarium. For example, most freshwater fish will be okay in water that is kept at 76 to 78 degrees. Subtract the average room temperature from the desired aquarium temperature. The difference will be how many degrees that the aquarium water must be heated. This number will also be your guide in deciding the wattage of the heater. After installing the heater, run it for a twenty-four hour period before adding in the fish to make sure that it is working well. For correct calculations and water temperature changes, choose aquarium water heaters with precise temperature scales.
