Getting The PhD Qualification
Tuesday, November 20th, 2007The PhD qualification comes through a qualifying examination that is given by a committee within the PhD university whom the student is associated with. The student has to perform some original research and make a thesis or dissertation about the research. This thesis has then to be verbally presented in front of a team of professors of the university. They will grade the thesis and argue its strengths and weaknesses. The PhD qualification is provided once the thesis is passed through the team of professors on its own merits.
