My brother has been married for fifteen years and is very happy. I asked him how he has managed to remain together with the same person for so many years. He told me that when they go married and were on their honeymoon he gave her one single pink carnation and one red carnation. He said that the meaning of flowers is something that can be very important to some people and she loves flowers. Every year on their anniversary he makes sure she gets one dozen red carnations and one dozen pink carnations delivered to her. He said that he wants her to know that he loves her more now and cares just as much as he did then.
